Issue 102 (November/December/January - 2018/2019)
What will you find in Issue 102? First, you will see that we have enclosed the TDR/Geno’s Garage calendar for 2019 as a part of the package. We are hopeful that the calendar is one of the first that you receive for 2019 and that it finds a place of importance in your home, office or garage. Congratulations to the members featured in the calendar. And most important, we want to send a big “thank you” out to the TDR members who submitted photographs. Back issues will not include the 2019 TDR Calendar. How about content for TDR Issue 102:
- On the cover of the TDR I asked our illustrator-guy, Bob Pierce, to do a watercolor painting of what he believes the next generation Ram Heavy Duty 2500 will look like. Time will tell how close Bob’s painting is to the real-world.
- The normal fix-this, correct-that, replace and repair that you’ve come to expect in our “generation” owners’ columns.
- A four-year update on his EcoDiesel from TDR writer Scott Gress.
- Our “BITW” column has several pages and articles that speculate about the next generation HD trucks.
- “I want my new HD” are the lyrics to a song you’ll be singing after reading about Ram’s 2019 1500 Series pickup.
- A Nissan Titan truck versus the Third Generation Ram: this is an interesting comparison.
- I’m looking forward to Cummins’ 100th Anniversary next year, we look back to Cummins’ first years with a new feature, “Clessie’s Column.” Who better than Mr. Cummins to tell the story and excerpts from his book “My Days With the Diesel” will take you back in time.
- TDResource” has a summary of the factory TSBs for the third quarter.
- Bob and Jeannette Vallier take us on a scenic tour of the Arches National Park in Moab, Utah.
As always, I am hopeful you enjoy this issue of the TDR. Thank you for your continued support.
